Double Beach & Short Beach Postcards DVD

Double Beach, Lanphiers Cove, and Brocketts Point in the western section of Branford, Connecticut were settled in the mid-18th century by the Linsley and Lanphier families. The Double Beach Hotel entertained summer guests for over one hundred years and was later the site of a private beach club. Today, Double Beach, Lanphiers Cove, Brocketts Point, and Johnsons Point are unique shoreline neighborhoods with year round residents and summer camps all with excellent views of Branford Harbor. This disk contains scans of 120 postcards from the early 1900s.
