Stony Creek in Branford, Connecticut is one of the town’s shoreline communities well known as a summer resort during the 19th and 20th centuries. Several hotels overlooked the Thimble Islands including the Brainerd House, Three Elms, Flying Point Hotel and Indian Point House. Victorian cottages lined the streets and a granite quarry provided work for the year-round population. Today Stony Creek is a suburban neighborhood with beautiful views, fine architecture, and a unique village character.

This disk contains scans of 110 postcards from the early 1900s.
